My Favorite Metaphor of Love

 

 What is Love? The dictionary defines love as a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person and a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend. Everyone knows obvious definition of love like above but still many people are asking about what is real definition of “LOVE.”  I firmly believe that there is no real or exact definition of love. However, I can describe the love with the one word as a using metaphor. I believe that Love is “water”.At first, every people in the universe know that water is most essential thing in our lives. Water is one of the most important substances on earth. Basically, all plants and animals including humans must have water to survive. If there was no water there would be no life on earth. Love is the same thing as water. If there is no love on earth and human’s mind, which means people have no any purpose or goal in their lives. People live, because they want to accomplish their goals which mean getting love. Sometimes we think we need more money, when really we need a change of environment, or someone to love. Sometimes we think we want more free time, sometimes we think we want to be alone. It is all related to a love. They live on earth to accomplish their goals and goals are compound of love that what they really want to get. This is the purpose of many people why they want to keep live on earth. Love is intermediate carrying stuff of our lives. It’s the same thing as water. People drink the water to keep live on earth like a love.

There is other examples that I can prove that love is water. Let’s say we accomplished the goals and got the love like got a boyfriend or girlfriend. When we are thirsty the water can be taste really good. It’s same thing as a love. When we feel thirsty of love, which means when we are in period of loneliness, we can feel love as a tasty and getting blossom everywhere after we got love. However, as time goes, people can feel sick of having love. Like a water, when we keep drinking the water, our stomach feel full, which means we don’t want to drink anymore. Not only that but also, when people boil their water, water used to be hot for a moment. When time goes passes, hot water gets colder and colder. Like a couple, they feel each other’s love for first 2 to 3 years, and it usually goes for a moment. After about 3 years later, majority of couple joining in period of lassitude and their love gets colder and colder like water above.

             Moreover, every people know that water is liquid which means it is wavy. Therefore, we are really difficult to hold the water and to hold the water we have to use some tools not only our hands. Love is also difficult like holding water. You must make them happy and making them happy makes you happy. For happiness, love is a simple solution for complex people. From this, love seems simple and easy. However, I believe that making happiness from other people is the hardest thing in our lives. Too make someone happy, have to put lots of efforts on. Have to think and plan to make his or her lover being happy. And also lot of misconception of getting love, is also make people difficult to get their love. Society accepts the bad boy seems to take him more seriously than the good guy. Bad boys seem to have more intrigue, mystery, confidence, and appeal than the good guy. In contrast, from a woman's perspective, they use to like good boys than bad boys. It’s harder for women to love bad boys because many women have been hurt in their previous relationships so it’s harder to open up your heart to a good man. In my result, love is water.
